Description

Make these fresh, healthy, two-toned, no added sugar popsicles with berries and greens in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Berry Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries (i.e., blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 1 cup plant-based milk, unsweetened, plain

Green Layer:

  • 1 cup packed, chopped greens (i.e., chard, spinach, kale)
  • 1 small orange, peeled
  • 2 small bananas, ripe, peeled
  • ½ cup plant-based milk, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Make the berry layer first by placing frozen berries and 1 cup plant-based milk in the container of a small blender and pureeing until very smooth. Set aside.
  2. Make the green layer next by placing greens, peeled orange, banana, and ½ cup plant-based milk in the container of a small blender and pureeing until very smooth. Set aside.
  3. Divide berry layer into 10 popsicle freezer containers to fill them about 2/3 full. Pour the remaining green layer on top of the berry layer gently—do not stir together. Add sticks and lid. Freeze for about 3-4 hours until firm.
  4. Makes 10 popsicles.
