Turmeric Mango Carrot Smoothie

Sharon Palmer

You won’t believe the gorgeous orange color of this exotic vegan, gluten-free turmeric, mango, carrot smoothie, which is oh-so creamy (thanks to cashews). Plus, it’s an antioxidant powerhouse, compliments of its potent ingredients. This smoothie is also a good source of protein, healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Best of all, you can blend this 5 ingredient smoothie up in just a few minutes. The main ingredient is fresh turmeric root, which is increasingly available in natural food markets across the nation. Learn more about the health benefits and culinary style for turmeric here. If you can’t find fresh turmeric, then substitute dried turmeric spice, available pretty much at every grocery store.

You can also trade up the ingredients, depending on your preference. Throw in some leafy greens, swap bananas for mango, or add pineapple for a tropical hint. Whip it up for an easy breakfast, light meal on the run, or healthy snack. I love to pour this in a mason jar, screw on the lid, and tote it along with me when I’m on the road. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Bottoms up!

  1. Tried this out and it was great! Definitely gonna make this regularly now. A great addition I added was about an inch of ginger root, it brightens up the flavor even more!

  2. A glass of sunshine!
Just got myself a ninja blender and I’m experimenting with new smoothies.
This was so good. I made my own cashew milk so used that as my liquid.
It’s very thick, but if I wanted it more “juice like” I would strain the carrot blend then add the rest of the ingredients.
    Thank you so much
