Turmeric Baked Tofu: Easy, Flavorful Plant-Based Protein

This turmeric baked tofu is a simple, flavorful way to add delicious plant-based protein to your meals. Firm tofu is marinated in a vibrant turmeric-spiced sauce, then baked until golden and satisfying. Enjoy it as a main dish, tuck it into sandwiches, add it to salads or grain bowls, or use it as an easy meal prep staple for the week. All you have to do is start with your favorite extra firm tofu, then create a curry paste with fresh turmeric root (learn more about cooking with fresh turmeric root here), garlic, tomato paste, EVOO, agave, and black pepper. Slather it on and marinate the tofu. Then pop it in the oven. It’s just that easy. This Turmeric Baked Tofu is so fragrant, and absolutely vibrant in bold flavor and color. Once your baked tofu is done, just slice it over sandwiches, toss it cubed into salads, and add slivers to wraps. Or just eat it right out of the oven for a protein-packed entrée.
