As if you needed another reason to eat a plant-centric diet, research gives you a really important reward, as they show a healthy diet boosts brain health! We are all concerned about keeping our brains healthy in order to preserve cognition, especially as we age. And new research shows that a healthful plant-based diet can lead to a larger brain size, which is a hallmark of good brain function. People eating the healthiest diets had brains about 2 milliliters larger than those consuming fewer healthy foods. So, boost your brain health with more plants! Check out my tips for including more whole plant foods in your diet here.
