Description

Craving a cozy twist on a classic? This warm vegan banana split features creamy dairy-free ice cream, caramelized bananas, peanuts, chocolate, and a crunchy crumb topping. Quick, easy, and 100% plant-based!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Add flour, oats, cinnamon, brown sugar, chocolate, and peanuts to the bottom of a 2-cup oven-proof glass baking dish, such as a Pyrex container or ramekin.
  3. Add sliced banana, cover with lid, and shake the ingredients well.
  4. Remove the lid, place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, until slightly golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven with a potholder.
  6. While warm, top with plant-based ice cream and garnish with additional chocolate or chopped peanuts, if desired. (May transfer to another serving dish, or serve right in the baking dish, according to your preference.)
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Makes 1 serving.
