Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza with Cashew Ranch

Ingredients

  • 1 flax seed crust pizza (get this at any organic store, such as Whole Foods or Fresh Market)
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup Franks hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Put cashews, salt, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika into blender. Blend until creamy then spread across the pizza crust.
  3. Cut cauliflower off the stem into small pieces and place in water to boil for 10 min.
  4. Once cool, drain and place the cauliflower into a large Ziploc baggy along with the Franks hot sauce and nutritional yeast. Shake the bag until all cauliflower in covered.
  5. Poor the cauliflower on top of the pizza and bake for 12 minutes (or according to crust instructions).
