Description

You can whip up this super easy recipe for Tahini Butter Toast with Citrus with only four ingredients in five-minutes for a quick healthy sandwich for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread, toasted
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 small oranges (i.e., valencia, blood orange, cara cara, mandarins)
  • 2 sprigs mint, separated into leaves
  • Freshly ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Toast whole grain bread.
  2. Spread each slice with tahini (about 1 1/2 tablespoons per slice)
  3. Peel oranges with a sharp knife and slice into thin slices.
  4. Arrange 1 sliced orange on each slice of toast
  5. Arrange mint leaves over oranges.
  6. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
