Can you imagine that just a decade ago Americans were relatively unfamiliar with the creamy, nutritious goodness that is hummus? Now, we like to slather it on everything from bagels to veggies to veggie-burgers. And why not? It adds delicious flavor and big nutrition in every bite. You can make your hummus even more fabulous by adding in special ingredients, such as different pulses, vegetables, spices, and nuts.
